About this EventCentennial Hall, Alumni Center, Keene State College
This is an opportunity for you to speak directly to two key people in state government, whose job it is to promote NH business and economic development (including tourism). As the state promotes itself as a great place to locate, grow and/or start a business, it's important that the unique assets of the Monadnock Region are considered, as well as the challenges we face. Let your voice be heard!
- How are the various pieces of our NH economy tied together?
- What will the process be to create the state's economic development plan this year?
- How is travel & tourism related to an overall state economic development brand?
Following remarks by the Commissioner and Director, and to kick off a conversation, a panel of economic development stakeholders from the Monadnock Region will offer their thoughts.
- Mark Fryberger - C&S Wholesale Grocers, Inc.
- Elizabeth Dragon - City Manager of Keene
- Steve Bittel - Town of Swanzey, EDAC Chair
- Jack Dugan - Monadnock Economic Development Corporation
- Nancy Dubosque - Regional Director, NH Small Business Development Center
The Greater Keene Chamber of Commerce Regional Issues Series convenes community stakeholders about issues of broad interest, so we can engage on them effectively, to create a more vibrant 21st century economy in the Monadnock Region.
