Come join us for the last Business After Hours for the year on Thursday, December 19th from 5:30 — 7:00 pm. Megan Suokko from Dogs On Depot is inviting you to attend with your pets, so it will be one of the most interesting Business After Hours yet.

Megan has been in the animal care industry since the year 2000. Her experience is broad and she started while still in college running an animal hospital's boarding facility for three years. In 2003 she started grooming at Petco and completed their grooming program in 2004. As she finished her undergraduate degree at Clark University in communications, she continued to work at Petco as a pet stylist. In 2006, she received a Master's Degree in Professional Communication from Clark University and she also began her first pet grooming business — the Woof Wagon.

The Woof Wagon is a full-service mobile grooming unit that travels to Megan's furry clients. The 26 foot RV comes to your driveway or workplace and your dog is groomed in the comfort of their own surroundings. The RV has a tub, grooming table, heat, A/C and hot water. Megan originally started with a mobile business as she felt it was best for the pet and their owner. With a one-on-one salon every pet could feel comfortable and they didn’t have to be put in the car to travel. The Woof Wagon is very successful in Massachusetts. and with Megan getting tired of the commute she saw an opportunity in Depot Square for a small salon setting with retail. Megan still only does one dog at a time and it seems to be working out for the pups and the owners too!

In April of 2019, Megan decided to expand the Woof Wagon’s reach and open a flagship store in Peterborough, NH.  Dogs on Depot has combined her love of 1:1 ratio grooming with lots of Dogs On Depot's favorite retail products.  Dogs On Depot offers evening and weekend appointments and also offers hourly pet sitting for pet parents that want to enjoy all that Depot Square has to offer. Walk-in nail trim is available always.

Megan continues her education in the Animal Care Industry and has attended over 30 grooming expos, is CPR certified for companion animals, and is working towards a certification with the International Society of Canine Cosmetologists.
