ASHUELOT RIVER WATER QUALITY MONITORING VOLUNTEER TRAINING
The Ashuelot River Local Advisory Committee (ARLAC) is recruiting volunteers for their 24th season of water quality monitoring! Volunteers conduct monthly physical and chemical water quality monitoring along the length of the Ashuelot River from Washington to Hinsdale; the data are then used by New Hampshire DES, the EPA, and local conservation commissions. To volunteer, join ARLAC chair Barbara Skuly for this in-person training, where we’ll review sampling techniques, go over the use of monitoring equipment, and share the 2024 sampling schedule.
6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Putnam Science Center at Keene State College. For more information or to register, please contact Barbara.
Co-sponsored by ARLAC, Keene State College, and the Harris Center for Conservation Education.
