Cheshire Medical Center is pleased to announce that Heather Keese, MSN, CNM, CLC, has joined the Labor and Delivery department as a certified nurse midwife in the Women and Children’s Health unit. Prior to joining the unit as a nurse midwife in December, Ms. Keese previously worked as a registered nurse at Cheshire in the WACHU for the past six years.
Boasting more than 10 years’ experience in health care—and more than five years as a labor and delivery RN—Ms. Keese has also worked as a phlebotomist in the laboratory at Cheshire.
Ms. Keese holds a master’s degree in nurse midwifery from Frontier Nursing University in Versailles, Kentucky, and a bachelor of science from Keene State College.
At Cheshire, Ms. Keese provides care in a team environment with obstetricians, gynecologists, nurse practitioners, nurse midwives, and nurses in the Hubbard Health Center and partners with patients to determine the best treatment and birthing options for each individual. Cheshire’s certified nurse midwives provide regular gynecological services, help monitor pregnancies, attend labor, and deliver babies.
