Monadnock United Way and Monadnock Ford partner to celebrate United We All Win Campaign
 
Keene, NH – The public is invited to an event celebrating Monadnock United Way’s recent fundraising campaign and featuring the Ford F150 Lightning all-electric pickup truck. Monadnock United Way and Monadnock Ford in collaboration with the Greater Keene and Peterborough Chamber will host this community celebration. This free event is open to the public and will be held at Monadnock Ford, 119 Monadnock Hwy in Swanzey beginning at 5:30 pm on Wednesday, January 25, 2023. The event program will feature the public announcement of the 2022 United We All Win campaign fundraising results as well as presentations by Sarah Harpster, executive director of The Community Kitchen, and Roberta Royce executive director of the Winchester Learning Center. Each will speak on the impact of their work on the community.
 
The new all-electric Ford F150 Lightning will be on display in the showroom and service department throughout the evening for car and environmental enthusiasts alike to see up close.
 
The event is the culmination of the United We All Win campaign and will be emceed by General Campaign Co-chairs Chris Coates, Cheshire County Administrator, Andrew Connell, C&S Wholesale Grocers, Senior VP Center Store Procurement, and Louise Danforth, Monadnock Community Hospital, Program Coordinator Monadnock Health Partners. There is a rumor that Captain United may make an appearance as well.
 
CC&D's Kitchen and Market, The Outlaw Brewing Company, Brewbakers Cafe, The Production House, and ACE Hardware are supporting this event through donations of food and services. “We are so grateful for the support of these area businesses and to Monadnock Ford and the Greater Keene and Peterborough Chamber for bringing the idea of a community celebration to us,” said Liz LaRose, president of Monadnock United Way. “We have partnered with a lot of organizations in the past, but Monadnock Ford is the first one that has offered to host the event and power it through an all-electric vehicle!” 
 
At the foundation of the Monadnock Ford mission is a commitment to the community. For each of the years in operation, the dealership has given to a variety of charitable organizations and community programs. Vadim Makhlis, the owner of Monadnock Ford, said, "We take great pride in our work with Monadnock United Way, knowing that the monies raised give support and resources to over 30 local organizations, right here at home in our community. We are grateful for our ability to play a part in this way." 
 
This event is open to the public and the Greater Keene and Peterborough Chamber is accepting registrations online. Register by January 20, 2023, by going to keenechamber.com and clicking on local events.
