Free Community Health Education Classes for Caregivers Related to Dementia and Alzheimer's on March 21 and March 28
 
Keene, NH–Cheshire Medical Center, a member of Dartmouth Health, is pleased to partner with Home Healthcare Hospice and Community to offer a two-part caregiver series led by Melissa Grenier, LCSW, who serves as regional manager for the Alzheimer’s Association’s Massachusetts/New Hampshire Chapter.  

The caregiver series, part of the Center for Population Health’s Community Health Education program, is a non-cost community benefit designed to help community members live a healthy, well-balanced life. The classes also foster community connection, education, and overall well-being.
Both classes will be held at Home Healthcare Hospice and Community Service’s Castle Center at 312 Marlboro St. in Keene. Registration is required 2 days before the event and can be confirmed on Cheshire’s online Events and Classes page at cheshiremed.org/events.

 Dementia Conversations: For people experiencing early memory loss and their care partners 
Tuesday, March 21, from 4 to 5:30 pm

During this interactive class, participants will learn productive and successful ways to have conversations with a loved one, family members, and others about some of the most challenging topics when caring for someone with memory challenges.

Living with Alzheimer’s: For care partners of people with early-stage memory loss

 This presentation will highlight practical answers to questions and concerns that arise during the early stages of Alzheimer’s disease.
