Overview & Funding
The Greater Keene & Peterborough Chamber (GKPC) Senior Project Manager position is funded primarily through a grant received from the U.S. Economic Development Administration (EDA).
The Greater Keene and Peterborough Chamber of southwestern New Hampshire seeks a Senior Project Manager to organize and manage the Chamber’s effort to promote the Monadnock Region. In phase one, the project manager will work with an outside marketing agency to coordinate brand development, which will involve research and collecting input from stakeholders. In phase two, the project manager will execute the marketing campaign for the project, which will include buying advertising, and creating content for the Chamber’s website and social media platforms.
Bachelor’s degree in a field related to the project; master’s degree preferred. Five years of work experience in the field of marketing required, with some experience in place-based marketing preferred. Must be outgoing and self-directed, with strong leadership, organizational, and facilitation skills. Must have excellent communications skills and be comfortable speaking in public. Experience with grant administration and/or contract management highly desirable.
Although not required, experience and/or familiarity with the following will be beneficial: Understanding of community and economic development principles and practices, familiarity with the Monadnock Region, research and analytical skills, ability to interpret socioeconomic and demographic information and related data, grant writing.
Ability to prioritize and multi-task, familiarity with common office computer applications, well organized, ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
