Our client located just South of Keene is looking to add a Process Engineer to their team! This is a great direct hire opportunity with a company that values their employees and promotes from within. This position will have you working 1st shift hours Monday-Friday and offers $58-$90k depending on skills and experience.

The company also provides a generous benefits package including health/dental/life insurance, 401k plan, paid holidays and vacation!

As the Process Engineer, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Coordinate lock out/ tag out procedures to ensure safety
  • Initiate process or equipment improvements
  • Identify root cause of failures/issues through investigation of process and communicate to management
  • Develop new concepts and train team members
  • Perform cost estimates, gather quotes, and make recommendations for equipment and projects
  • Coordinate project execution with other teams
  • Set production goals
  • Employ lean and continuous improvement principles
  • Create process set ups
  • Coordinate on-call schedule for maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Other duties as assigned

Your skills/qualifications for the Process Engineer position:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or comparable experience
  • 5-10 years manufacturing experience including supervisory
  • Master Molder I certification
  • Vendor selection and capital project experience preferred
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints/technical drawings
  • Solid computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Working knowledge of machine elements including pneumatics, hydraulics, PLCs and switches
  • Proven leadership and teambuilding skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid interpersonal skills and confident in conflict resolution
  • Working knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma manufacturing concepts and OSHA standards
  • Understanding of PLC programming, FMEA, and 2D/3D software
  • Must be self-motivated and self-directed to plan, prioritize, and manage daily activities
  • Ability to multitask and manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work hours as needed to meet organizational objectives
