Event Description:
The Historical Society of Cheshire County is hosting a workshop for elementary to high school teachers who wish to expand their understanding of US immigration policy and the history of specific groups of immigrants to New Hampshire. Sessions will include presentations, hands-on activities and local history research. Participants will receive 12 hours of professional development credit for attending. The teacher workshop is funded, in part, with grants from New Hampshire Humanities and the Finlandia Foundation. $40 registration fee (includes lunch and all handouts)
