Regional Issues Series: Promoting the Region
GKPC’s Plan to Promote the Monadnock Region
After more than two years of preparation, the Greater Keene and Peterborough Chamber is ready to launch its Promoting the Region initiative, designed to bring more workers, families, higher education students, and visitors to the Monadnock Region. A three-year grant from the U.S. Economic Development Administration to help the region recover from the economic impact of Covid-19 will allow the Chamber to create a brand for the region and then begin a marketing campaign that the Chamber intends to be ongoing.
Attendees of these sessions can…
- Learn the work the Chamber has done to date to prepare for the Promoting the Region initiative
- Learn what’s planned for the branding and marketing campaigns
- Share their thoughts about the importance of marketing the region
- Learn how they can get involved and participate in the project
We are conducting two meetings to accommodate those in the western and eastern portions of the region. You are invited to attend one of the meetings in Keene or Peterborough in person, or you can attend the meeting on Tuesday, July 27 via Zoom. Speakers include Phil Suter, CEO of the Chamber, and Jamie Trowbridge, chair of GKPC’s Promoting the Region Committee.
