Partnerships Between Higher Ed & Regional Employers
The Monadnock Region, like much of the nation, is grappling with a workforce shortage—an issue heightened by the pandemic but that existed long beforehand. It’s going to take creativity and regional collaboration to address this complex challenge.
The Greater Keene and Peterborough Chamber, in partnership with Southwest Region Planning Commission, has organized a series to explore various aspects of workforce development in our region including successful models, remaining gaps, and paths forward.
The first session, held in November, focused on career pathways for K-12 and community college students. The second installment of the series, scheduled for January 12th from 8:00 – 9:15 a.m., will examine partnerships between four-year institutions of higher education and regional employers.
