Event Description:
Ernie Proper is a political and traditional activist, musician, traditional singer and dancer, and lecturer. He belongs to the Lakota Ogala, Mi'kmaq, and Nuhlheagan tribes and currently serves as the President of the American Indian Movement of New Hampshire and Vermont. Proper has dedicated his life to educating communities about the culture and history of the first peoples with first hand knowledge of Native American social justice movements. Join us as he speaks on the American Indian Movement's activism and presence in New England.
