HOMESCHOOL PROGRAM: AT HOME IN NATURE

Calling all animal allies, nature noticers, and outdoor explorers! Join Harris Center naturalists Karen Rent and Susie Spikol to let your wild side out this fall. Uncover your wonder, and let the natural world be your teacher. Birds, bugs, salamanders, chipmunks, seeds, butterflies – come discover them all. You’ll also have an opportunity to be part of the Harris Center’s nature podcast for families, Wild at Home. For children ages 6 through 12.
This group meets Tuesdays, September 26, and October 3, 10 & 17, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Harris Center and local field sites.
On October 3, we’ll make a special field trip to the Pack Monadnock Raptor Observatory to watch for migrating hawks. Rain date: October 10. All other days, we’ll meet at the Harris Center.
Cost: $120 per child for Harris Center supporters / $140 per child for all others
Space is limited, and registration is required. For more information, including questions about accessibility, contact Susie.
