At a Death Cafe people, often strangers, gather to drink tea, eat cake, and discuss death.
Our objective is 'to increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of their (finite) lives'.
The Optimist Cafe has generously offered to open on a Monday evening for us to get together and drink tea, eat cake, and talk about death.
Tea, coffee, baked goods, and dinner options will be available to purchase. However, no entry charge or purchase is required to attend this Death Cafe.
A Death Cafe is a group-directed discussion of death with no agenda, objectives, or themes. It is a discussion group rather than a grief support or counseling session. To learn more about Death Cafes, visit https://deathcafe.com.
